e-Development Conference 2022

The world is changing rapidly thanks to innovations that arise from the creative use of information and communication technologies. Innovation has become a basic condition for competitiveness, but also for survival in the modern digital society.

Innovations are no longer the privilege of technological giants, but a tool that micro and small enterprises also use to create added value, improve services, and transform business models.

At the e-Development Conference 2022, the focus was on the importance of innovation in building a sustainable information society. Special attention was devoted to practical examples from the sectors of education, healthcare, public administration, entrepreneurship, and industry, where digital innovations have brought measurable changes and improvements.

Participants had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories from those who push boundaries — entrepreneurs, researchers, IT industry experts, and representatives of public institutions. Discussions also addressed the challenges of implementing innovation, the legislative framework, access to financing, and the role of the state in encouraging digital transformation.

The aim of the conference was to highlight the importance of an innovative approach in the development of the information society and to inspire stakeholders at all levels to recognize and use the potential that digital tools and technologies offer.

The e-Development 2022 Award was presented to Milorad Miša Ćirić, representative of Diaspra Group, as a distinguished individual for his contribution to the development of the information society in the Republic of Serbia.
