e-Development Conference 2019

The e-Development Conference 2019 highlighted a key fact: digital transformation is becoming the foundation for the survival and growth of all modern companies, whether large or small. ICT technologies – from mobile solutions and social networks to cloud computing, IoT, and big data analytics – are changing the rules of the game.

Large companies once dominated the market, but today agile, digitally oriented businesses are taking the lead. Digital business enables a better customer experience, faster decision-making, and stronger competitiveness.

Successful digital enterprises redefine relationships with customers, integrate all internal and external processes, and accelerate innovation. However, digital transformation is not easy – it requires knowledge, vision, and systemic support. Unfortunately, domestic companies still lag behind.

That is why the e-Development Conference 2019 was the right place for exchanging experiences, gaining insight into modern solutions, and discussing the challenges and directions of digital transition. The key message was clear: those who do not transform their business will stagnate or disappear.

The e-Development 2019 Award was presented to Katarina Jonev, founder of the Cyber Atis project, as a distinguished individual for her contribution to the development of the information society in the Republic of Serbia.
