e-Development Conference 2018

Digitalization today is not just a global trend – it is a key factor for survival and development. Companies and institutions that want to remain competitive must have a clear digital strategy, place the user at the center of all processes, and develop digital leadership.

The e-Development Conference 2018 was dedicated to the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution – from the Internet of Things and Big Data analytics to the digital transformation of business models. The focus was on smart solutions, innovation, and the question of where Serbia stands in the global digital race.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of modern ICT technologies for improving business operations, strengthening competitiveness, and helping organizations adapt to new market conditions.

Through expert presentations and the exchange of experience, the conference opened space for dialogue on how domestic companies and institutions can use digital tools and innovation more effectively in their own development.

The e-Development 2018 Award was presented to Siniša Lalić, Director of the Business Sales Sector at Orion Telekom, as a distinguished individual for his contribution to the development of the information society in the Republic of Serbia.

As the eighth annual conference of the e-Development Association, this event continued the tradition of bringing together the professional and business community around topics that contribute to digital transformation and the responsible use of modern ICT resources.
