e-Development Conference 2015

The focus of the e-Development Conference 2015 was on emphasizing the importance of organizations concentrating on their core business processes, while support functions — especially in the area of information systems and IT resources — should be entrusted to experts through outsourcing models. The conference highlighted how this approach enables greater efficiency, lower risk, and better use of budgets.

Outsourcing as a business practice makes it possible to use the best available experts, equipment, and services in line with specific projects and strategic goals. For that reason, in the era of the digital economy, an increasing number of companies recognize ICT outsourcing as a practical tool for improving productivity and reducing operational costs.

The e-Development Conference 2015 served as a platform where ICT outsourcing solution providers had the opportunity to present their experience and concrete case studies, demonstrating to the audience the profitability and practical value of this approach.

The e-Development 2015 Award was presented to Sava Savić, Assistant Minister for the Information Society, as a distinguished individual for his contribution to the development of the information society in the Republic of Serbia.
